Hong Kong, 20 November 2018.  Together with the Asia Society Hong Kong Center and the Singapore Chambers of Commerce in Hong Kong, the Singapore Consulate-General organized a “ASEAN Smart Cities Network and the Challenges of Urbanisation” forum on 20 November 2018. Practitioners from ASEAN and beyond spoke about the latest development of smart cities in ASEAN, Hong Kong and Mainland China, as well as how technology could be used as an enabler to overcome urbanisation challenges such as traffic congestion.   As the Guest-of-Honour, Hong Kong Undersecretary for Innovation and Technology David Chung delivered a keynote address which updated the over 200 guests present on the implementation of Hong Kong’s Smart City Blueprint.
