HONG KONG, 23 FEBRUARY 2017.  Consul-General of Singapore in Hong Kong Ms Foo Teow Lee made an introductory call on the Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and former Chief Executive Mr Tung Chee Hwa.  At the meeting, Mr Tung affirmed the strong bilateral relations between Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as the personal friendships between him and Singapore leaders.  Mr Tung and Consul-General Foo also exchanged views on recent developments in Hong Kong. Earlier in the week, Consul-General Foo also called on Chief Secretary for Administration Matthew Cheung.
